Sarina the Violin Diva

   Born and raised in Tokyo, Sarina Suno (aka The Violin Diva) started playing on the violin since the tender age of 5. The Berklee Collage of Music Summa Cum Laude graduate combined classic training with a love of dance music such as EDM, house, hip-hip, as well as jazz, blues, Latin and R&B, in the process forming a very unique sound and a dazzling performance style all her own.

   While her senior year in collage, she was signed by Victor Entertainment, one of the largest major labels in Japan, under Sony Music management, the fiddle has toured her native Japan, released three CDs all of which made it to the top 20 charts on iTunes Japan, and has graced dozens of national radio stations, talk shows and TV programs.

   Since her move to the Big Apple, the Violin Diva has quickly become the city’s most in-demand electric violinist. She’s been rocking the crowd by her energetic and mesmerizing live performance on her custom-made LED violin at some of the city’s most coveted concert venues, such as Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall, Roseland Ballroom, Webster Hall, Cipriani and Highline Ballroom... along with exclusive nightclubs such as Pacha, Marquee, Lavo, Tao, Nikki Beach, 1Oak... to name but a few. She has also done several special performances on hit realityTV shows, such as Real Housewives of New York, MIllion Dollar Listings and David Tutera’s CELEBrations (at rapper Lil’ Kim’s babyshower.)
 
   Sarina has also ventured throughout the country, from Miami to Las Vegas, and Arizona to Houston... and she’s performed the global in over 15 countries, from London to St Barths. Istanbul to Milan, Bangkok to Tel Aviv with multiple stops in between, performing alongside marquis names like legendary trance DJ Jonathan Peters, apl.de.ap of multiple Grammy winning group Black Eyed Peas, rapper FloRida, actress/singer Milla Jovovich and actress/DJ Michelle Rodriguez. She’s currently working on her first original EDM album, which will be released in 2016
